Fairly new park (2-3 years old)in the Spicer area near Green Lake. This is a very popular lakes area in Central MN. The park itself is clean, well managed and easy to get to. Close to the town itself and public beaches, food etc. There a a number of seasonal lots but plenty of open sites generally. We arrived on a Saturday PM and it was quite full. All sites are gravel or grass, there is no hard surface on the sites or roads. Nice, new lodge building with pool etc. Appeared very clean and well kept. Very family orientated, especially on weekends. During the week was very quiet. Major problem was that we found that our cell phones and air card didn't work well. In fact were on the verge of unusable. That may vary with your carrier, many people made that comment. Close to Willmar which has Wal-Mart, Targbet etc. Cash or checks only.
Sites are very close together. By very, I mean we couldn't open our awning. Half our stay was very crowed and busy, the other was not busy. However we didn't move. The wifi is very weak, we couldn't connect most of the time. Little or no grass on the sites and the sand gets in everything. All that said, it is really a unique park that is on the beach, not across a road or nearby a beach. It is on the beach. We did enjoy our stay and will be back. Great place as a base if you want to visit Marineland, St Augustine, Daytona or Kennedy Space Center.
Nice spot with friendly hosts and employees. Very quiet park with some rules that may or may not fit your desires. I'd suggest going elsewhere if you want to party. Cards not accepted, but checks were not a problem. LP on site. All sites are pull throughs. WIFI worked flawlessly.
Nice smaller RV park with a great location. Smallish sites, but made up by very friendly staff and neighbors. Nicely social group of people. Handy to Orange Beach, Flor-Bama etc. Will go back in the future. Would be rated higher if some of the pads were repaved and more stable, but not a big deal. Close to the beach on the Gulf side (~300").
Great sites overlooking the lake. Some of the others were smallish, but wooded, so you can choose what you want. Our site was very deep and directly overlooked Lake Superior. We were pleased and already made reservations for two trips next year. They did have wireless internet available in the office area. I thought the rate was very reasonable considering what we have encountered elsewhere. No cable TV, but you can get the local stations out of Duluth very clearly. Golf course right across the street as well.
I agree with the others. This is a great RV park. Yes, it's not the quietest, but there is no shortage of things to do (gambler or not). Great food, but be either early or late on weekends at the casino eatery's. We went for a concert weekend and it was great fun. Everything was clean and well kept. The check in was quick and easy. This should be rated highly unless all you want to do is sleep. Then you don't belong at this type of place.
Very nice CG. Quite large, but not crowded. Our pull through site was well kept and plenty large for our TT and PU. Only negative would be the pullout required a very tight turn. We barely made it. Backing out would have been easier and there was plenty of room. Grounds were very neat and clean. The beach and dock area was very well designed and well kept. We'll go back.
